The Shake Up
Fusing the immediacy of British punk with the melodies of indie rock, Sydney trio The Shake Up deliver tight and energetic music that positively buzzes.
With previous singles playlisted on Triple J (Home Ec, They Say No, What Are You Worried About?) and tour supports across the nation with The Fratellis (UK), Birds 0f Tokyo and Rocket Science, The Shake Up are set to embark on a national tour to launch their new single, Everybody Loves It.
The first taste from their forthcoming debut album, produced by Jim Diamond (The White Stripes, Dirtbombs), Everybody Loves It condenses the excitement and revelry of a night out into a 3-minute pop song.
Great nights out will be had as the 15-date Everybody Loves It tour hits capital cities and regional centres across Australia through April and May.
The film clip for Everybody Loves It will be released to coincide with the tour and single release. This reunites the band with the team behind the clip for recent single Makes Me Sick, which has attracted over 16,000 views online.
The Shake Up's debut album ...if you have no shame is due for release mid-2010.
